Hmmm.. 3 other blogs about nothing?

Blog BloG BLOG

Well, there's a tough job, finding three blogs similar to mine. But, how is that possible, since Roublog is just (Ro)unique? However, when you consider the thought that this entire blog is in fact about nothing (it really does contain "the most important nonsense no one wants to know"), I prob have a zillion blogs to pick from? WRONG. Therefore I have just decided to pick 3 very different ones that have someway or the other been able to attract my attention.

Eleven's Playground
= Eleven's Blythes, coming to life =
http://11-playground.blogspot.com

Sorry to say this, but this is just scary! Loads of freaky dolls and a woman writing for them, referring to herself as their mommy.. Oof, that's just asking for nightmares. True Chucky reminders. UGH!

Help Me, Bubby!
= Our grandmother, Her questions, Her advice =
http://www.helpmebubby.blogspot.com

This blog is nowhere near full of nonsense, it is a true beaut! An 88-year-old grandmother is helping out people will their probs, trying to share her wisdom with the rest of the world. So, if you have any problems you need some help with, this is a blog worth your time.

Myself and I |Alone|
= Myself, nobody else, just me and myself, "ALONE" about the journey of life =
http://adidoank.blogspot.com

Hooray, hoorah. Even Indonesians are into bloggin'.
Exams, exams, exams :(

Aaargh, exams!

Poor students out here in Pamplona... Everyone is seriously studying their butts off, since the examperiod has arrived. Well, my butt is still hanging there, haven't really gotten into the whole studying scene, yet. I should get myself started though, coz exams out here are a whole lot different than the ones I'm used to at the Hogeschool van Utrecht. Not like I haven't done nothing at all; some reading and an attempt to remember definitions. Going rusty though, since it is all in Spanish.

Any how, this would be the explanation for me not blogging that much. So, RouBloggers (if I have any, assuming I do... somewhere out there), stick around for some RouBloggin' in February, K?

The "Buy Bush a PlayStation 2 Campaign"

Bushy

A man named Mikel Reparaz, a USA citizen, started the "Buy Bush a PS 2 Campaign" as a protest to the war in Iraq. He managed to spread word about the campaign through the Internet, while asking people who shared his opinion to donate money. At the end, he was able to raise an amount of $370,- enabling to get the US pres.: a PS2, copy of 'Conflict: Desert Storm', 'Dual Shock 2 controller' and a memory card. The unusual gift was sent to the White House somewhere in 2002, and la Casa Blanca has confirmed that they have received it.

Here is the letter Reparaz sent with the package:

Dear Mr. President:
I represent a small consortium of voters who are deeply concerned over your proposed {or, if appropriate, ongoing} military action in Iraq. Given the amount of public speech and political rhetoric you have devoted to this issue in past months, it seems to us as though you are more interested in playing commando than in fighting an actual war with actual human casualties.

Enclosed with this letter, we have sent you some small gifts: one PlayStation 2 game console, one copy each of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs and Conflict: Desert Storm, a memory card and an extra controller for Mr. Cheney's use. We ask that you accept these gifts and use them, rather than the lives of Iraqi civilians and our U.S. servicemen, to fulfill any militaristic fantasies.

Respectfully,

Mikel Reparaz
Chairman
Buy Bush a PlayStation 2 Campaign

First PS2 Casualty

Let's FIGHT!

Well, the first few days back in Pamplona have passed and I am so glad that it's almost weekend... Thank God it's Friday...

Well, what have I been doing this past week? Nothing useful I must say.. My suitcase is still chaotically organized in the middle of my room, and I must say that my once-so-very-neat room now looks like a big hurricane rushed right through it. What I do have put nicely in place is.. my PS2 ! I have stationed it in the living room, so we can have some serious roommate bonding the next coming weeks.

I seriously have the coolest games; the Eyetoy with the first Eyetoy game, and the latest one 'Groove'. I also got two dance mats at London Gatwick airport, together with a dancing game, seriously Grrroovy peepz! You just have to try it out...! One thing though.. Keep glass saloon tables out of the way, or even better: simply anything made of glass.
I was dancing so fanatically yesterday that I did not notice the saloon table was a little bit too close to me, and OOPS! KliNG! Some dangerous bare-foot-glass-braking. Muy mal, people. Do not think our landlord is going to be too happy about that... Hope he still has something left in him of that X-mas spirit :/

Rouflyin' back to Pamplona

Packing franzy!

Folk, time flew by so quickly that now it's time for me to fly; literally. Am going back to Pamplona after a stay of two weeks in good, old, familiar NL. I had a great time with my family and friends, it was nice and tranquilito; did not do anything I did not feel like doing (studying is one of these thingies). Thanks sweet peepz, still don't know what I did to deserve you guyz....

Am glad to be going back though, it feels like home. Am looking forward to walking in the streets of Pamplona again.. and of course to seeing my hunkiechunkie novio.. He's the sweetest... What does feel rather disturbing is the fact that exams are waitin' for me, and I need to get myself Internship-Hunting. Too bad, hope I will still have enough time to hop around with the Eyetoy I got for my new PS2.

Well, I still have some major packing to do... don't think I will be getting any sleep tonight...

Hmm.. am getting hungry.. Who could go for some rice and veggies at 2 in the morning?? Naw.. let's just get ourselves a cup of tea. Gonna shake off the whole food-obsession-thing. About time, it's been haunting me ever since I seriously decided to watch what I eat.. So, from now on, no more demasiado looking at what I'm putting in my tummy. Just think healthy and nutricious food, nada más.

Well, it's packing time!
